Dana's Zippo Car
The pieces aren't actually glued together yet. There is a lot of work to be done - fenders, carving, sanding and then the staining and finishing processes. Now that it is April - the question in our house is: Does Dana mow the yard or work on his car?! He is getting out of washing our vehicles... but I'm afraid of his riding lawnmower!! Dana has started on the Zippo lettering for the doors... The "stamp set" was his Grandpa's when he was young - kewl beans that the lettering is basically the same. Each letter took Dana an hour beginning with cutting and ending with gluing. April was a busy month! Four more pics below!!!
