Probably only a draftsman or an egg-n-ear (engineer for those of you who don't live with one) can appreciate the 1 and 1/2 months that went into the drawing phase of our car. Dana had to draw all views such that he could use the drawings as a pattern for cutting the wood. The little squares are 1/2" to give you an idea..
My dad Charley visited us at Christmas. Below, you'll see him on the left and Dana at the ole drawing board. When he was here, we received the package from Zippo with the photos that we needed to begin the design phase. Dana had no choice but to stop being the charming and entertaining son-in-law he is... and get down to business!!
